Han River / Jamwon Pitch
How to get there by subway:
Apgujeong station exit 6...walk
straight out down two blocks and turn right between the high school
and the middle school. Walk to the end of the street and turn left
following the highway embankment until you can enter the River park
area about 50 metres ahead on your right. We train on the grass
area to the far right of the parking lot.
Again...call if you are lost!
Yongsan Family Park Pitch
How to get there by subway:
If you are taking the subway
head towards the museum, but walk past it towards the blue footbridge.
The entrance to the park is just under the footbridge.
How to get there by car:
If you plan to take a taxi or
are driving, from Itaewon, head towards Banpo bridge as you go past the
Yongsan base and before you go up to the bridge you will see a brown
highway sign that says "Yongsan Family Park" turn right and follow the
sign. Keep following the road to the right and you will see the ramp
to Dongjak bridge. The car park for the Park is just past the ramp.
Careful or you will miss it! The entrance is also under the blue
footpath bridge over the road.
The field:
We play at the back of the
park. To get there from the car park, take the footpath at the far end
of the parking lot. Follow it straight past the large hand statue, up
a small hill, head a little to the right, head past the flags then
straight downhill till you get the back of the park...there will be an
open grassy areas surrounded be trees. We are on the far back bit.

Ewha Pitch
How to get there by subway:
Take the
Green Line (line #2) to Ewha Women's University Station and take exit
#2. Walk about 250 meters north along the one way street, and you
will see the gates to Ewha. We train just inside the gate to the
left on the grassy area with the running track around it.
How to get there by car:
Ummmm, I
just use my GPS. For those of you with
GPS or Google Earth, the Lat/Long of the entrance is
37°33'32.80"N, 126°56'44.91"E, there is parking just to the west
(left) of the entrance (you have to pay).
Yeouido Pitch
How to get there by subway:
Take the
Purple line (line #5) to Youinaru Station (station #527) and get out on
the riverside exit (#2). You'll be right by the Mapo bridge - the
Sogang bridge is the next one over heading west. From the subway, you
can take a 3 - 5 minute cab ride along the river to just beyond the
Sogang bridge (you can see the pitch on the right - it's got rugby
posts and everything), or you can walk/jog for 10 minutes or so...makes
for a good warm-up jog before training.
How to get there by car:
To drive
from north of the river, take the Mapo Bridge and take a right
turn immediately at the end of the bridge (i.e. where it arrives on
Yeouido). Then take the next right (50-100 meters along) which is a
slip road (ramp) down to the road which runs alongside the playing
fields and river. This ramp is marked “Olympic
Expressway”, but do not go all the way to the Olympic Expressway!
Go along the road next to the playing fields and car park, under Sogang
Bridge and the pitch can be found immediately on the right, between the
road and the river. The rugby posts are clear. For those of you with
GPS or Google Earth, the Lat/Long of the pitch is 37 32' 00.73 N, 126
55' 13 E.
Mokdong Pitch
How to get there by subway:
Get to Dangsan (Green line 2) Take Exit
1. Then catch a W3,000 cab to Edae Mokdong Byeongwan (Hospital). The pitch
is just behind it at the high school. For cabs and cars with GPS, you
want to go to 37 32.045'N 126 53.216'E. Again...call if you are lost!
